Baby
Blues to be Broadcast on National TV in China
A contract
was signed in November for the licensing of Baby Blues for broadcast on Chinese
national television. This is the first sale of the film to a major broadcaster
and the negotiations were handled by Ardent International Sales, the film's
sales agent and distributor.
Said
Owen Carey Jones, a Director of Carey Films Ltd: "It goes without saying
that I am delighted with this sale. For it's first television outing, Baby
Blues will be broadcast to the largest single TV audience in the world. There
are 1.2 billion people in China who between them own 3 billion television
sets and China Central Television reaches around 95% of them, or over 1 billion
people."

Baby
Blues Available in Christian Bookshops
Despite
an adverse reaction from one US television network, Baby Blues is now being
distributed by Authentic Media, a division of STL, the UK based Christian
media group. As a result, the film can be bought on video and DVD from a wide
range of Christian bookshops including the Wesley Owen chain which has a shop
in most major UK towns and cities.

New Trailer
for Baby Blues
Following
the signing of the new sales and distribution agreement with Ardent International
Sales, Carey Films has produced a new trailer for the film to be used by Ardent
at the film and TV markets around the world.
"The
new trailer was requested by Ardent as they thought the old one was too linear
and gave a wrong impression of the film." says Owen Carey Jones, Director
of Baby Blues.
The new
trailer can be seen on the Carey Films web site as either a real time streaming
video clip or as a progressive download file for better quality reproduction.

New Distributor
for Baby Blues
Following
a disagreement which arose with distributors, Grizzly Adams Productions Inc.,
Carey films has terminated the distribution agreement signed in May this year
and signed a new sales and distribution contract with Ardent International
Sales Ltd. Early indications are that the new agreement will be considerably
more fruitful than the previous one.
Speaking
about the change, Owen Carey Jones, writer/director of Baby Blues said: "Grizzly
Adams had been focussing almost exclusively on sales to the Christian market
which I had never seen as the filmıs prime market. When an American TV network
reacted badly to some of the content of Baby Blues, it became clear that this
strategy was flawed and that a change of distributor was called for. I am
delighted to have signed with Ardent and I have no doubt that they will do
an excellent job for us."

Baby
Blues Distribution Agreement signed
Following
the screening of Baby Blues at the film markets in London, Milan and Los Angeles,
a Distribution Agreement has been signed with the Sales & Distribution
arm of Grizzly Adams Productions, Inc. of Colorado. GAP
(which grew out of a 70s children's TV series) believe there is a good market
for Baby Blues in the USA and elsewhere. Speaking about the deal, Owen Carey
Jones said: "It goes without saying that I am very pleased to have signed
a distributor for Baby Blues. GAP has wide experience, gained over many years,
of distributing films both to the american market and worldwide. To have such
a well established company believe in the film enough to offer to take on
this role is immensely rewarding to all those involved in the production."
